American Generations Package
Beginnings
This package is recommended for those in the beginning stages of researching your American ancestors and typically results in several generations worth of research. American Generations Beginnings includes a minimum of 20 hours of research time. Research time includes creating a research strategy, reviewing online resources, reading microfiche, ordering certificates, and looking at books. From start to finish your project may take anywhere from 4-6 weeks to develop a family tree which usually goes back 4-5 generations (to the mid to early 1800's). Be prepared to be involved throughout the process in order to confirm or deny the findings throughout the process. Upon completion you will be sent a CD (or DVD) with all data compiled from the research. Hard copies of all data and a report detailing the research performed and recommendations for future research work. Lastly, a family tree will be included which is suitable for framing. Additional copies can be provided for a nominal fee.
Intermediate
In the event that you have already begun researching and gathering family data, the American Generations Intermediate package is recommended. It includes a minimum of 35 hours of research time. Jewish Heritage Package
For those with Jewish ancestors it can be quite difficult to find a researcher who understands the many challenges they will face. Similar to the American Generations packages, the Jewish Heritage packages come in three levels- Beginnings, Intermediate, and Advanced. Particular focus in each package is to utilize the many contacts and resources available through the JewishGen website. A 5% donation will be made to JewishGen for each Jewish focused research package.
